Supporting individuals and programs to continue a legacy of removing barriers to theater, debate and speech programs at Chanhassen High School.

We believe in the power of art.

We give students the opportunity to experience personal growth and social development through participation in performing arts.

Who We Are

Stauber Family Legacy Arts Fund was founded in 2023, but the sentiment was in operation for many years before that date.

Tom Stauber was a pillar of generosity in the community from when he and his wife Karen and their kids moved to Chanhassen in 1994 until his death in August 2023. Nowhere benefitted as much from his generous heart as the arts and music programs in ISD 112.

In his stead, we, his family, with the support of the amazing friends and family that surrounded Tom, are using this fund to continue the incredible, quiet work of removing financial barriers for students and young people to participate in Theatre, Speech and Debate programs, carrying on the incredibly important work, work that Tom did so quietly for so long.

“Speech at Chanhassen High School was my gateway for self expression. It allowed me to find a voice where I had none before. My voice was amplified through the lifelong friendships I made. From small classrooms, to large stages, to the arena of life, the support and encouragement of my friends has taught me to keep speaking. ”
